Chris and Debby Weldon were sent to Snoqualmie, WA as church planters. In 2006, they were called from their ministry in Georgia to plant a church in this booming suburb of Seattle where 95% of the population is unchurched. Because of the unchurched background of the area, funds from partners like WordReach, other churches, and other born again believers are needed. All aspects of Lifepointe Community Church’s financial budget are reviewed by an advisory board. Staff salary and benefits are based upon a set scale prescribed for church planters – although the economic recession has necessitated significant cuts in what Lifepointe staff are paid.
WorldReach has set-up this project, not only to assist in funding, but to work alongside Chris, Debby, and the Lifepointe believers to plant and grow this new work. Tax deductible contributions can be made to WorldReach and designated for this project, or you can visit Lifepointe’s website by clicking here to mailing donations directly to Lifepointe.
